Logicoat’s southeast Melbourne factory, offers full timber coating services with super-competitive rates for all your coating needs. Our semi automatic machine coating lines, allows us to give you a very constant finish on high volumes of timber, quickly and inexpensively.
On site coating is expensive, messy, and smelly. Free up the other trades on your site be pre-coating your cladding and lining products.
Logicoat can coat, weatherboards, claddings, linings, battens, shiplap, plywood panels, veneered MDF, OSB strandboard, architraves and just about anything you can think of.
Roller coating, Curtain Coating, and up to 6 gun Spray coating. We operate an 8 head profile brush sander for linear timbers and architraves etc, and an 1300mm wide panel brush sander for Doors, Plywood and timber Veneers.
Logicoat is also the largest applicator of Fireshield timberclear and timberwhite systems. We offer on-site or factory application, of Fire Shield Group 1 an 2 timber coatings

How do we do it?
Our spray coating machine allows us to spray coat 1,2,3 or all 4 sides of timber battens and boards. Our large curtain coater, will coat panel products and doors etc up to 1250mm wide with an unlimited length.
It’s all about having the room to rack lots of timber. Most products only need 2 days to dry, whilst Fireshield takes 1-2 weeks curing time prior to packing down for freight. Logicoat is the only factory coater in Australasia with the space and time to handle large volumes of fire rated timber coating. We warm, circulate and dehumidify our insulated drying room.
We then carefully pack down with wax paper to prevent blocking (sticking) in transit.
With MDF sheets top, bottom and every so often in between to protect your timber, we then wrap in plastic and it’s ready for your carrier to collect, or we can arrange transport on your behalf.
